140 Bred Heifers from Baker Brothers Farm, Monroe, NC - View Video

BLACK & RED Angus-based heifers with Simmental, Charolais, or Gelbvieh influence. All heifers were turned in with calving-ease, high growth Angus bulls from Uwharrie Ridge Farms (URF Dually G54, URF Blackhawk G14), EBS Farms (EBS Enhance 023), and Lane Angus. These heifers have been handled very well, are docile, and have not been pushed hard on feed.

Balancer and Angus-based home-raised heifers and cows coming from excellent seedstock genetics. There are 12 heifers and 8 3-year-old cows, all sired by Balancer, Gelbvieh, and Angus bulls and bred to Balancer, Gelbvieh, or Angus bulls. They are due to start calving the end of September through the fall. The Green Hills Cattle Co/Green Hills Gelbvieh herd raises purebred and commercial cattle that are bred to perform for the commercial cattleman in the southeast and excel in hybrid-vigor.

8 BLACK & 2 SMOKEY - 8 Angus-based heifers with some Simmental influence and 2 Charolais-x-Angus heifers. Heifers are home-raised and sired by either AI bulls or Harward Sisters herd bulls. They were AI'd to calve mid-November to the ST Genetics sires Hoffman Thedford or Hoffman High Road and then turned in with a calving-ease Angus bull from EBS Farms (EBS Bonus 140) that also ranks in the top 30% or better in 5 $Value indexes. These heifers are easy-keeping, fed some silage through the winter and have just been on grass since April.

10 BLACK, 2 BWF & 1 RED - Home-raised Balancer and Angus-based heifers sired by Green Hills Gelbvieh & Balancer bulls and out of Angus-based commercial cows. Heifers are bred to calve November 15-December 15 to a calving-ease Angus bull (Bushs Wing Up 855, son of Bushs Wing Man 201). Also BVD-PI tested before the sale.

30 Bred Heifers from Richard Shaw, NC

Home-raised Angus-based heifers sired by Springfield Angus bulls with some Simmental and Gelbvieh influence. Heifers are bred to calve this fall to calving-ease Angus bulls from Springfield Angus, some will already have calves at side at time of sale.
